At Whole Self Therapy, we do things differently. We take a less clinical, more human approach to therapy and wellbeing—helping individuals, couples, and workplaces move beyond anxiety, burnout, overwhelm, and relationship challenges, and into clarity, calm, and confidence.

THE FOUNDER

Behind Whole Self Therapy is Lauren Cortazzo- a registered therapist, coach, and educator who believes real change happens when awareness meets action.
 

Known for her down-to-earth, zero-fluff approach, Lauren brings a practical and human lens to therapy and wellbeing- supporting individuals and workplaces to move beyond burnout, anxiety, and survival mode with real tools for real change.
 

With a background in counselling, behavioural change, and workplace wellbeing, her work bridges evidence-based therapy with holistic practices that cultivate nervous system regulation, emotional safety, and self-trust- the foundations of sustainable wellbeing and growth.

We explore the shift from baseline → survival mode → autopilot, and why so many high-functioning women find themselves running on empty. You’ll begin to understand burnout not as a moment- but as a gradual drift away from capacity.

Why you keep pushing… even when you’re exhausted -
This is where things click. You’ll uncover the behavioural patterns and archetypes that keep burnout repeating- including over-functioning, people pleasing, and hyper-responsibility- so you can finally understand why this keeps happening.

Rebuild your awareness of your nervous system and capacity-
Module 4 is about learning how your nervous system actually works, how stress and emotional triggers impact your capacity, and how to recognise when you’re moving in and out of regulation. You’ll also be introduced to practical tools (including the CALMS Method) to begin interrupting the stress cycle in real-time.

In this module, you’ll identify your personal red flags, body cues, and emotional signals- so you can respond earlier, rather than waiting until your system forces a stop.

This is where it all comes together. In this final module, you’ll learn how to regulate your nervous system, protect your capacity, and make small, realistic shifts that actually last- so you’re not just recovering from burnout, but preventing it moving forward.
